First and foremost: WORLD-CLASS CUSTOMER SERVICE.  If you wish to order ArcheBooks titles for stock or for a book signing event, no one cares more about ensuring your complete satisfaction than we do.  Whether you order online via the PDDP, or call 1-800-358-8101 to place your order, it will be meticulously handled to ensure quality control, timely arrival, problem-free.

 

As a Small, Independent Traditional Press, ArcheBooks Publishing recognizes that while Ingram Books, Baker & Taylor, and Bertram's have access to distribute our books, many other major publishers dominate their mindshare and resources and smaller publishers are often left fending for themselves.  So rather than become frustrated by this reality, our approach is to not let it impede our progress, but rather to do what we can to ensure that booksellers get what they need from us in a timely manner, at a good price, and with Full Return privileges.

 

 

Important Digital Printing Note for Booksellers:

 

There has been some confusion regarding the "status" of many ArcheBooks titles with respect to how they have been reflected in the computer databases of some major distributors.  That is, ArcheBooks Publishing does, indeed, also make Print-On-Demand versions of its books available, primarily for online consumers, as well as to serve foreign markets around the world without the necessity of stocking and managing those inventories.  However, for the US, Canada, and UK markets, booksellers may order directly from us via our PDDP program and receive traditionally printed, normal stock from our warehouse, at normal wholesale prices, with full Returnability.

 

Specifically for Barnes & Noble Booksellers, please call your Barnes & Noble Distribution Services at (800) 944-READ, where ArcheBooks maintains an active account to order any of our titles for your store.

 

Please see our About page to read more about ArcheBooks Publishing's Hybrid-Production Strategy.  Contrary to popular belief, in the 21st Century, titles can be manufactured in parallel, employing both traditional high-volume Offset and small-run Digital printing technologies, as best suits the market demand level at a given moment, and the particular needs of the markets to be served. Unfortunately, the major distributors don't appear to be able to make that distinction in their computer systems.

Return Policy

  • Warranty: Any title received from ArcheBooks Publishing damaged or containing factory defect will be 100% returnable.
     

  • Online Orders: All titles ordered via Amazon.com or Barnes&Noble.com are subject to the online retailer’s return policy.
     

  • Wholesale Distributor: All titles obtained through Ingram Books, Baker & Taylor Books, or Bertram’s (UK) are subject to the return policy of the wholesaler, normally 100% returnable.
     

  • Wholesale Publisher Direct: All titles purchased by booksellers through the Archebooks’ Publisher’s Direct Program are 100% returnable, subject to the following conditions:
     

    • Valid Accounts: Booksellers in good standing, account must be current without past due invoices, may return books for credit. 
       

    • RMA Process: Bookseller must contact ArcheBooks publishing prior to any returns and obtain an RMA (Return Materials Authorization) number.  Return goods will not be accepted without a valid RMA number clearly indicated on the shipping carton.
       

    • Shipping: Bookseller must pay all shipping expense associated with the return.  No COD’s will be accepted.
       

    • Minimum Stocking Period: Books must be kept in stock for a minimum of 90 days.  We wish to discourage over-ordering for display purposes only.  All copies of a title should be ordered with the intention of sale.
       

    • Book Condition: Books must be returned new and undamaged.  No sold/used or bookseller damaged books may be returned.
       

    • Refunds: The following represents ArcheBooks refund policy.  Accounts with outstanding balances shall have the option of applying the refund credit to the balance or maintained as a publisher credit towards future purchases.  The issuance of refund checks is at the sole discretion of ArcheBooks Publishing.
       

    • Return Contact Information: To obtain and RMA, please call 1-800-358-8101 or email sales@archebooks.com.  RMA instructions will include appropriate Ship To information.
