Dick Miller was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., in 1937. A Lutheran minister for 38 years, he served as Pastor of congregations in Connecticut and New Jersey, and Senior Pastor of a large multi-staffed church in Florida before retiring in 2001. This is his first published work of historical fiction. Dick lives in Florida with his wife, Donna. He has two sons, one in North Carolina and the other in Florida. Dick and Donna have six grandchildren.
